also technically alcohol isn't even *a* solution, it's a category of *substances* (ones with a hydroxyl group on a saturated carbon), and even if they specifically meant ethanol it's only kinda sorta a solution (it's not a solution but it's extremely hygroscopic so unless it's like, in a controlled atmosphere or something it immediately turns itself into a solution with a bit of water from the air lol)
