#WritersCoffeeClub September 9th: Do you go to book festivals?
No, but I’ve been wondering if I should. As a writer I’d like to cultivate a Pynchonian mystique that I don’t think meshes with festivals. As a (slow) reader I have a to-read pile that already overflows when fed by random book stores, little lending libraries, and recommendations so I can’t say I’m starving for new reads. But they seem important and I suspect I’m missing the point.
