"content": "Oriole\n\nHere is a Baltimore Oriole (Icterus galbula) who was around last spring for a week or two. There were several who hung around, I put out orange halves for them. The were also attracted to the suite feeder.\n\n\"Baltimore Orioles eat insects, fruit, and nectar. The proportion of each food varies by season: in summer, while breeding and feeding their young, much of the diet consists of insects, which are rich in the proteins needed for growth.
