My friend who is an organizer on Meetup with a standard account says her rates nearly doubled as of June this year. She sent me this screengrab of Meetup's mention of it.

So it's no longer $75USD every 4 months. It's now $45USD every month. Wow. Or if you pay them a year in advance, $300USD now.

I hope folks organize a lot of paid events on this platform. The one I belong to never charges for events. They're going to have to start soon.
