Most of the time what I was measuring was less than the length of one leg, but not always. I could get by with just one I think.
For now I'm not going to put the stickers on and use the card I got (see my later posts) and supplement with a phone app.
I can guesstimate length by the legs themselves -- each one is about 4" which may also help at least get in the ballpark.
