I saw Killers of the Flower Moon yesterday. In one scene, a main character is in a movie theater watching a news reel before the movie. The news reel was about the Tulsa Massacre which happened at the same time as the Osage deaths.
We can’t progress if we don’t acknowledge and address our past. We have often struggled with what it means to address it, now we are struggling with whether to even acknowledge it. We are moving backwards.
