I tried Grayjay for a whilw, it was not doing it for me. I couldn't Import my Subscriptions, and their Youtube player had issues (like all Youtube privacy frontends).
Right now i'm using this app, you can configure it to auto-download new uploads from your content creators, and then watch them offline:
