I would absolutely feel responsibility to ensure the survival of humans.
What id actually do about it - not sure. But I would feel a greater sense of needing to become multi planetary for example and would probably worry more about a great filter that wipes us out.
Sad to see people wouldn’t feel any different.
If it was definitive that we are the most advanced species in the universe, would you feel a greater responsibility in ensuring our collective survival?
