If I lived in that house, there would be an additional security camera in the system, trained right on that gate with full, high frame rate, 4k resolution and high quality stereophonic audio. I might even put up some lighting to ensure the best quality videos. The real crime here is that we don't get to see slow-mo closeups of the instant horror on their faces as they realize what is about to happen.
Maybe even a GoPro mounted on the gate itself for that POV effect...
