I notice these same commentators don't remark on Israel itself keeping overseas journalists like the BBC out of the area so they can't cover what's going on more closely, or the Israeli authorities shutting down Al-Jazeera in a similar attempt to throttle independent coverage of all sides of this awful carnage.
