With temperatures set to hit the high 30s in #BC, housing advocates call for heat limits in rental homes
As temps reach up to 39° (102°F) today in Metro #Vancouver and farther east, advocates say municipalities need to ensure tenants don't face deadly risks of overheating in their homes.
Although municipalities set bylaws mandating the minimum temperatures rental units must be able to maintain, there are no similar rules for how hot a home is allowed to get.
