I'm ok with the dressing up and getting out into the community and making demands with menaces, which are all important life skills, but I have trouble with importing an autumn festival to commemorate the end of the harvest and doing it in Spring when flowers are blooming and people are planning beach trips.
It's as bad as when we used to do baked dinners at Christmas in 40° temperatures because tradition.
