I'm glad the Mastodon developers have given more of their gameplan on quote posts, it's a feature that I still really miss from Twitter and enjoy having on Bluesky. ​

inb4 they make it opt-in instead of opt-out though so they become functionally useless just like the full text search currently is ​ friendly reminder that users never go into the settings ​
