I’m generally not one to favor wide angles, but when you encounter a black hole grade eye sucking scene like this, one is hard-pressed to yield to the circumstances.

This is the walkway at the top of a flood control dam tucked away in the woods not far from me. It’s dry on both sides usually, but is there to protect sensitive areas in case of one of those 100 year events. There’s actually a pretty extensive network of these things, silently and thanklessly keeping watch.
