I looked into this at one point, the ability to upload to YouTube via api is paywalled by the googs.
It exists, it's in the docs. It just costs money, creating an application with perms to youtube in Google dev console, adding your credit card etc.
So I just abandoned centralized platforms outright. Google dev console is almost as big of an existential nightmare to have in one's reality as managing their ad campaigns or hosting on AWS.
Fuck 'em.
Then I magically felt better.
