This is not really a surprise. Or much of a disappointment.
The Green Party has moved past Robin Harper. And like many of his generation, he doesn't care much for change.
He quit the Greens back in August, as he disagreed with them on supporting Scottish independence, and trans rights. In fact he called for the Green leadership to resign over supporting trans rights.
This will be as insignificant to The Greens as Jim Sillars has been to the SNP for the last 20 years.
