I'm working on getting set up to grow my own fish (non-commercial home production) and thinking about best eating species.
I'm planning on staying on a ketovore diet, so points for more fat, taste, versatility and also ease of developing non commercial food sources for the fish themselves.
Channel catfish, tilapia, bluegill, crappie, striped bass, trout, and possibly some other species like crawdads or freshwater shrimp might be possible in my situation.
As a corollary, I'm also thinking about what to grow to feed them.
How would you think about this? What comes to mind?
