Saurabh Netravalkar, an Oracle software engineer from Mumbai, became popular overnight after bowling against Pakistan in the T20 Cricket World Cup. Born in Mumbai in 1991, Netravalkar completed his BTech in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology and M Tech from Cornell University. He is a left-arm medium-fast bowler known for his consistency and ability to swing the ball. Netravalkar has played for the India U-19 team and represented Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. He is now the Captain of the United States national cricket team. His favorite cricketers are Glenn McGrath, Zaheer Khan, Wasim Akram, and Rahul Dravid. Netravalkar was selected in the USA cricket team 6 years ago and has been pursuing his job at Oracle on the side.
