Crash the economy, tariffs will end up being deflationary, and get bond yields down so the US can refi at lower rates on the long end of the yield curve. And this will all be done before the mid-terms next year. Oh, and this is Bessent’s master plan.
This is all completely absurd, but this kind of rationalization, which you can find variations on everywhere in the legacy media
as they desperately continue to try to report on what’s happening in this country as just another Normal Story:
