People around my office refer to a collection of exhaustive and authoritative documents on a topic as a bible. (I think it was legal jargon? UK turn of phrase?)
What can we call it that doesn’t invoke religion? It’s not really a playbook, and it’s less user guide than a support manual.
Encyclopedia? Guidebook?
