#WritersCoffeeClub 8/2: Is there a person in your life who encouraged you to write?
Several, starting with my mother, who also wrote short fiction, providing me with an early role model. But I also had a fifth-grade teacher who nurtured that creative bone, another high school teacher, and also a local writer/novelist whose workshop I attended as a teenager - he's still a friend today.
