I think the hip thing is to (sorry) facilitate / ensure removal before cremation.
I meant to say: probate should be very straightforward, as your mum is presumably the main beneficiary, but if you need any help then give me a shout. And (again, sorry), be sure to keep the paperwork for when you need to probate your mum, because if the shared IHT.
