Hurray ,the fire wasnt condemned ,it needs a bit replacing so I am thinking of getting it done instead of asking the council ,power cuts aside we simply couldnt afford to run heating off the immersion heater ,we did try to see how much it would be ,but we had to stop when it had passed the £300 mark mid way through the month its not even designed as the primary water heater so its expensive .We have already bought half our winter logs the past months So that would be a big financial hit
