Fucking with the Suez alone would cause massive issues. Israel, Egypt and accidents have demonstrated that in the past.
Blockading the entire Atlantic isn't necessary, it is the same reason that underwater gas pipeline was such a big deal. Don't be that guy that is like "why not just load the gas up in tanks on a ship?" that isn't how any of this works.
