I’ve had a truly brutal five weeks or so. Some old SA trauma resurfaced, and I brought it on myself, but it feels like I worked it out a bit more. Past me had very limited options and no one to trust, and I was as brave as I could be, and I got out as soon as I could. I was very brave.
My husband came back from his work trip yesterday and I’m deliriously happy cuddling with him on the couch, watching our happy kid play Tears of the Kingdom. It feels like I made it through the storm.
