My opinion based on nothing is that a majority of House GOP members have no desire to do any work. They are content to drag out the current Speaker farce indefinitely. If the government shuts down, they will blame the Democrats and ignore the plight of the people who elected them as well as everyone else. They just don't give a shit. If they have fealty, it is to Trump and Putin, both of whom see chaos and inaction as positives for a host of reasons. I joke a lot but there's no humor here. 😟
