mleku on Nostr: democracy is wrong because it is founded upon the assumption that people can vote for ...

democracy is wrong because it is founded upon the assumption that people can vote for rules that violate the laws of physics, chemistry, biology, information security, and many other things, oh yeah, and of course, as we now have economics, funny that how the official economics trumpets the role of a government and taxation and money printing as being good

this is literally the exploit that the bankers have used in the concept of democracy, and they were able to do it because at first, only property owners could vote, then it was only men, who were mainly the property owners, and then they prometed the idea of women voting, and now, we are at the final stage where dead people are voting

the other problem with democracy is that most people are honest, so if you take a random sample of people who respond to a poll, they are going to admit what they are going to choose when the election comes

so political parties send out swarms of pollsters to act as a thermostat for the reaction to their publicity stunts and they adjust them, and then sample again, and can have quite a high confidence that they have found the code that the masses want to hear

but what they actually do after they get elected is not actually sequential to what they promised

so, these are just two of the massive holes in democracy, that are further weakened by a highly connected communication system, as you see in the second

in actual fact, laws should be made and agreed upon by competing, independent organisations, who define what is jurisprudence and what is bullshit

the judges get paid to rule on a case brought by a plaintiff, and the ones that adhere to the most sound rules get the most publicly applauded result both in the short and the long term

the body of law is small, and if the body of law gets too complicated fro a 5 year old child to understand, there is a big problem with the legal system

democracy, ultimately, is about making the legal system responsive to changes in circumstances, but it's extremely vulnerable to manipulation and especially influence from people who don't have anything at stake from the actions that are taken as a result

at some point, a society, undergoing the process of its history, is going to find that the plausible benefits of democracy are actually vulnerabilities and that putting the control over things in the hands of people with great geographical separation from those who must obey the rules they make, leads to worse and worse results for the human society, to the point, it makes us retarded
