In the past year and a half, many people have (rightfully) criticized NOSTR for its flaws, but the importance of NOSTR lies not so much in its features as in its very existence.
A protocol, however flawed, will always be better than alternatives that don’t yet exist. In recent weeks, many are realizing the need for a decentralized alternative.
