landing and download pages are already stuffed with as many ads as possible, so I don't think there's real gain. my thoughts leaned more towards affirming the download is in progress, and the (in)famous set phrase "if the download hasn't automatically started, please manually click link", otherwise inexperienced users might think the download is unresponsive or broken
