As long as you have an internet signal, however faint you can post a note on Nostr or perform a LN transaction. Tomorrow, all could be done with a radio signal for the faintest or satellites for the strongest signals. Today i posted notes and performed LN payments with the hardest monetary good in history and final settlement from:
- A Plane: The highest commercial point on Earth (35000 ft) on very low speed
- A Boat: the lowest breathable point on Earth (249 ft) on weak signal
If we even step foot on Mars, deep space communications systems will allow for the same. LN Payments from Earth to Space and Space to Earth?
