How much do I Iove very small, ocean-going yachts?
One of my favourites: Sopranino, designed by Laurent Giles in 1949. Just an inch under 20 feet, not much bigger than a sailing dinghy, she was built in England by Wootten Bros. for Patrick Ellam who, together with Colin Mudie, sailed her from east to west across the Atlantic in 1951.
