There is more than enough to highlight about the immigration crisis that would appeal to reasonable moderates that you don’t need this sensational story to make the case. Strain on resources, housing, disease, public safety. Even dems know what’s going on and are uneasy about it even if they won’t admit it.

It is pretty funny though and maybe that’s the point.
