I used to manage Mac OS X Servers. Anything past the GUI was always a pain. Migrated to Linux and rediscovered FreeBSD in the process. Now I still manage some old macOS “servers” and everything else has been migrated to FreeBSD. Nothing is easier to manage than FreeBSD. Who needs a buggy GUI ;)
