And, I find it reeeeally funny (odd, ironic, and hilarious) that most anprims have never been camping before and have zero survival skills.
I once joined an anprim group on Facebook and got kicked out for talking about hunting and gathering from an authoritative understanding as a person who used to be a farmer adjacent to a vast wilderness area who has actually subsisted by farming, hunting, fishing, and foraging in combination.
My Autistic Special Interest is historic lifeways and technology. I have savant level knowledge of Iron Age living and survival. The subjects under that header - that I don't know at least the basics of - is a very short list. And I could get by in the 「Neolithic」to 「Pre-Industrial Modern Age」 tech levels.
