In the furtherance of the infantilisation of society a set of Academics has declared that "Call The Midwife" needs a health warning that it depicts birthing practices which are out of date and could be misinterpreted by the public.
A spokesperson for the program said "Call the Midwife is a drama and is set half a century ago. It is highly accurate to the period it depicts and shows how childbirth has changed radically over the years".
