Everybody has a cell phone here, and in fact there are several apps (exchange apps) where you can buy or top up with bitcoin or stable coins, and then spend it. You get a physical or virtual debit card, and you can select which coin you want to spend, so you buy something in pesos, the store receive pesos, but the App swap your bitcoin or stable coin to pesos to pay it. There was a time where you spent pesos and those apps gave you cash-back in bitcoin or a stable coin, but I think that was expensive for those apps so they stopped offering that or that’s a very small percentage, and you receive a better discount in pesos using your bank app.
