I failed and failed. 3 or 4 hours later I got bored, found a ship somewhere, used a digipick and "took" it. The crew didn't dislike it, no bounty, no kills, nothing. The second time around didn't go that well, and the cargo space was bad anyway so I ended up selling all my stolen ships except the one, which I still use.
