Fren, I appreciate your response, and you've made it obvious that I must refine my meeming...😃

Memes are of course an extreme shorthand; and as I've been unclear, here is the point I attempted to make, in longer form:

ALL nation-states (and their related subsidiary governments) are based on the initiation of force. Consequently, everyone who votes, regardless of what "side" or "issue" or "candidate" they may be voting for, is in truth invoking the pricipalities and powers of darkness and wielding them against their neighbor.

And yes, let's look at a larger context; the chapter begins by admonishing us to walk in love. Supporting the state--even implicitly by choosing its rulers (i.e., voting) who claim the right to coerce and rob us--is FAR from loving our neighbor. In an even wider context, the book begins by explicitly telling us that JESUS is above ALL that political garbage, and that he rules EVERYTHING through the agency of his body, the ecclesia.

And he's told us, as his called out ones, that we're NOT to "Lord it over" our neighbors as is the manner of the nations... And so, that is why "voting" is un-Christian support of tyranny, a perpetuation of gentile "lording over" that Jesus has condemned.
