For sure. It'll never be guess work, but the skill and precision required falls through the floor. The system does that for you now.
I've seen it in other industries, as well. As technology advances, the need for the skilled labor decreases. Mediocre will do. Automation replaces all skilled labor eventually. I've seen it in manufacturing and am currently seeing it in health care.
Coding is a skill and there was no short cut for experience. Now there's a short cut for both.
