After the introduction of the recently featured MG ZR and Streetwise versions, in 2004, MG Rover made one more effort to freshen up the by-now nine-year-old R3 Rover 25 via a final facelift. There was a new grille and the double headlamps disappeared behind single covers. This slightly desperate measure was forced on the company by the continuing absence of a replacement model after BMW made off with the R30 project. Local car park shot, 2023.
