Cleaning up the half drank bottles of homemade cider and mead in the garage fridge, 'testing' them and moving them into smaller bottles. Saw one and thought 'why'd I put that one in a jar?' ... ended up with a mouthful of homemade maple syrup. Tasty but unexpected.
