**Follower Counts**
On a network such as #Nostr, I'm not even sure it is possible to give accurate follower counts. But even if it is, they matter mostly for "social media marketing" types than for you and I.
SMM folks depend on their "reach" figures as part of their measure of success, despite the built-in inaccuracy. (I'm not constantly watching my feed, so even those I'm subscribed to aren't reaching me 100% of the time.) For the rest of us, we just want to talk to some cool folks and share the thoughts and events that are part of our lives, so it does not make a whole lot of difference whether there are 20 people or 200.
