On Saturday, 5th April, Bitcoin Babies was honoured to attend and represented by Veronica our Circular Economy Specialist at BitBiashara Graduation Ceremony, a vibrant celebration of entrepreneurs who took the bold step to study both Bitcoin and business.
These weren’t ordinary graduates. They are everyday heroes — women, men, mothers, youth — business owners who said yes to learning how Bitcoin can be used as a medium of exchange and a tool for building better lives.
We had deep conversations around:
- Grassroots Bitcoin adoption in Kenya
- Building real circular economies
- How merchants can grow their businesses by accepting Bitcoin
- Empowering small businesses with knowledge and financial freedom
But this wasn’t just theory. Bitcoin Babies has already been making an impact in the community — one sat at a time.
-Levinah, owns a grocery store, saved the SATs she earned from her sales and recently stocked her new business
- Joyce, who runs a local salon, received a fresh makeover of her space through the Bitcoin Babies program. Today, she proudly welcomes new and returning clients to a better-looking salon.
- James another entrepreneur in our community, was able to design and pay for his new business banner using SATs from previous sales.
These are just a few of the stories that remind us: Bitcoin isn’t about speculation — it’s about dignity, opportunity, and empowerment.
At Bitcoin Babies, we’re building circular economies, offering business grants in SATs, and showing families how to save for their children’s futures — all powered by Bitcoin.
