I don't know if people realize just how "improvisational" I am when teaching a project course. I'll often just roll with student ideas or some flicker of a thought regarding implementation to see where it leads. Sometimes it leads to a very bad place. Which brings me to day 4 of this week's Raft project. Definitely should have made that turn towards Albuquerque 2 days ago--as opposed to driving straight towards the giant cliff where I'm at now. Hmmm. Maybe if I go faster, I'll make it.
