Do and check your backups frequently!
After a 2h power outage in Ticino today, I fiddled 4h to fix a corrupt 12TB veracrypt NTFS disk with my main data. The backups were from 2 weeks ago (manual to a 2nd always open veracrypt disk). [After the fix, I opend a bottle of wine to celebrate]
New setup via script:
1. at 3am croned: mount and decrypt veracrypt disk2
2. rsync changes from disk1
3. unmount disk 2 (don't miss this step)
4. find other reasons to drink wine
5. from time to time check disk2 manually
