At my next job, i hope to not be in over my head for the entirety of the job.
i've had a number of jobs where i was in the deep end, with no guidance, no support, and where the work required was way over my abilities going into it. in all those cases, i developed serious anxiety (which famously blocks calm thinking and reasoning through a problem) and drowned. maybe others might've been able to rise to the occasion and succeed in those situations, but i didn't. so this is why i hope to not have a job in the future where i constantly feel like i'm way in over my head.
