Today's blog is for subscribers, but if you want to sign up for my newsletter I thought I'd offer it. Back in 1999 I had lunch with classic science fiction writer Robert Sheckley at a famous Portland restaurant. He sadly passed away in 2005, but left a fascinating legacy of work behind. I've been thinking a lot about this encounter now that I'm working on some SF of my own.
