For US investors the penny has already dropped in the aftermath of 'Liberation Day'...
David Roberts (head of fixed income at Nedgroup Investments) has told Investment Week:
'Trump is clearly a threat. That threat may be more for the US than the rest of the world. By the time he & the US realises it, it may be too late to save Uncle Sam'!
Well, of course he (Trump) won't 'realise' it, but perhaps we really *are* seeing the last day/months of the American 'empire'?
