There's nothing left-wing about claiming someone is a Russian asset. It may be people on the left making that claim, but it's not reflective of left-wing political ideology. I don't think Elon is a Russian asset, but he's ego-driven, and sloppy—both traits that the former KGB Russian dictator is known to seek out and exploit for his own purposes.

In any case, it's concerning that someone with Elon's money, government contracts, and security clearance is having regular conversations with one of America's primary enemies. I would feel the same way regardless of the political affiliation of the person having these contacts, and I only hope that American intelligence is monitoring the situation closely for the sake of protecting the nation's interests. I see this as a matter of national security, not politics.
