A neighbor in my local food mutual aid group posted "Hey, a friend of mine raises chickens and had an extra 36 eggs. She gave them to me. I kept a dozen. I dropped another dozen off at the free fridge. Does anyone want the last dozen?"

So I snagged them.

I was told to wash them thoroughly as they were quite "fresh". 🤣
